pyTEM - Python-based Transient Electromagnetics

This package helps to work with TEM data of various kinds

• simple in-loop soundings
• fixed-loop (one Tx loop) profiles and mappings
• separate-loop profiles
• airborne TEM (e.g. SkyTEM)

The aim is to provide users with a simple open-source software. Currently, it was built around the modern TEMcompany instruments like sTEM (what it was made for) but it will support other data. It is mainly intended for preprocessing data and doing 1D-based (partly laterally) inversions. For 3D TEM inversion we are creating external software packages, but use this as processing tool. This project is in an early stage.
